Nikon Photo Contest - Poster design

The Nikon Photo Contest was a project I was asked to do pretty much last minute.

The contest is an exhibition for the finalists of  the Nikon photographic contest, where contestants from all over the world send their photos in to win prestige and some cool gear. They needed a design that would complement their other advertisments. They wanted something extremely minimal that would tell the viewer that this is an exhibition we are advertising. I came up with the concept during a sleepless night working as I had to present the next day (they called me just as I was leaving the office to boot). I had some other variations of the poster design but they settled on the infinite gallery idea you see above.

I created things like large A1 posters, leaflets, invitations and commercials.

Fun fact: In order make the design quicker, I needed a way of getting the 3d perspective and depth of field right without mucking about. So as a short cut, I used After Effects. I created a massive composition for a B2 size poster (very big!) and did my thing with much success. Thank god for Macs!
