Branding proposal
I created a lot of different variations of the brand before landing on the one you see above. They had a similar sort of logo that they used before hiring me which had the letters of Sirius all jumbled up and in different fonts. That logo however was not very legible, but they did like the arty feel of it. So that’s why legibility was so high on my priority list. I also enlisted the help of a good designer friend Kwedo to get a good amount of variation in the logos we would propose and also to simply inspire each other with our different ideas. Together we came up with several designs which can be viewed below.
The final design was then chosen, which is the multicolored one seen above. It represented art being created and admired, as well as showing a direct evolution from the previous brand. The project stopped when it was up to the board of directors to “OK” the re-brand. Time went on and they never really got back to me and as far as I can see, nothing has changed to this day.
