What Hi-Fi - Sound and Vision

What Hi-Fi is a magazine published by Haymarket which specializes in Hi-Fi’s and high-end TVs. The whole magazine caters for so called audiophiles, who are obsessed with getting the very best sound of out their equipment.

I was brought in as a contractor to redesign their website which at the time was just a blog. They needed something that would provide their readers and users with real content like reviews, guides and videos, instead of just tech news. Working closely with user interface designer Gary Ellis, he provided me with the backbone to the site that I used to design around.

Today the site has been very successful and has broken all their predetermined targets. Their forums house around 42,000 active users and is continuing to grow.
